  1. Had the TV for three days and it just quit working. Amazon was great, they shipped me another one right away. But the problem is, this TV is bad! I live in the Tampa area, I stood outside with a better antenna than what the TV came with and still could not pick up hardly any staions. Volume at its max is not very loud and the battery does not hold a charge for more than 45 minutes. Bottom line, the whole purpose of a portable television is to be able to pick up stations. If the TV cannot do that then it is not worth buying.

  2. I received this item this afternoon and I was surprised that I did not receive one digital channel to look at. The TV displayed the message NO SIGNAL and I contacted the company. I was told to try and take the unit outside to see if I get a signal and when I did, I still had NO SIGNAL so I am returning it. What a disappointment!!!

  3. My experience was similar to the other one-star review, perhaps I was the unlucky soul to next get the unit he/she returned. There were significant scratches on the screen, no plastic covering to protect it and the bag was not sealed but taped. This unit was definitely repackaged with the hopes someone would just not return it…. Perhaps those of you who received a new TV are happy but to those of you contemplating buying one of these units beware you may not receive a NEW TV.

  4. This review relates more to the appearance of my “SO Called NEW TV” than the performance of the tv itself..Received today ,sending back tomorrow.

After opening the box ,the tv was nicely wrapped..After taking off the plastic,,the tv screen looked like the tv had been stored in someones closet (unwrapped) for 10 years (Really)..The screen was “so scratched” as if a group of hungry cats had wrapped the tv and shipped it to me from “THE AMAZON”.I even looked for the thin plastic film that usually covers “NEW” screens of such devices, but there was no plastic cover film…Man,,I know that I am only 1 in a million customers at amazon but I thought the company sent “NEW” product if customers ordered “NEW” product..Come on Amazon..I’ve rated you top notch ..Maybe amazon should chech the warehouse this product came from..Seems like it was attatched to a forklift and watched for months then shipped to me..(Seriously)..

I didn’t bother to test out the tv..

Just want my refund…Not a refurb..

  5. A quick scan brought up 21 stations here without adjusting the antenna. The picture is very good. This TV receives better than our converter boxes. Tried a 2 gig flash drive and that works well also. The only thing I don’t like is the mini jack for A/V input. You have to use a camcorder style cable to connect an external DVD or VCR. You will also have to supply your own 12V adapter for use in a vehicle.

Overall this seams to be great gadget for the price. Hopefully it will last a while.
